Walking with purpose

Outward Round Romania owns the Erasmus+ Accreditation in the field of Youth since 2020. We created an action plan for the period 2021-2027 for the following target groups: disadvantaged and mainstream young persons, youth workers and youth NGOs.

During the 7 years we are going to:

  • create a strong local and international network of youth NGOs in order to share best practices and working methods.
  • develop the soft and hard skills of the youth workers, enlarge their toolkits and theoretical/practical knowledge about working with groups using non-formal methods
  • develop the key competences, raise the awareness of the young persons about environmental sustainability and contribute to their inclusion

During the fifth year we implemented the following Mobilities in order to contribute to the set objectives

1. Walking with purpose: 14-25.07.2025

2. Into the Wild: 12-25.08.2025

Feedback from the participants:

“This was my first Erasmus project and to be honest i couldnt be happier. I never thought it was going to be as good. I loved the trainers, i loved the group, i loved the space.. i really cannot think of things to complain about. All very organised and structured. I think you just set the bar too high forEerasmus+ projects”

“It was very colorful, with many different emotions coming up. I could easily catch the vibe. The activities were surprisingly high quality, well organized, in harmony with the energy level of the group.”

“My expectations were to challenge the personality traits I take as given about me and learn how to self reflect and introspect about my self, as well as challenge my physical capabilities and connect with nature. The course fully met these expectations as I now have the skills that allow me to develop and grow, in and out.”

“I expected to gain practical knowledge, useful tools, and real-life examples that I could apply in my work or personal development. I also hoped to connect with others who share similar interests and learn from their experiences and perspectives. Overall, I found the training insightful, motivating, and well-organized. It encouraged me to think in new ways, gave me confidence to try new approaches, and left me with actionable ideas I can take forward. I’m grateful for the experience and would recommend it to others.”
