- “That being emotional is not a burden but a gift.”
- “That I can change my bleak future if I ask for help when I can’t do it alone.”
- “That I am capable of more than I’ve achieved so far.”
- “That negativity doesn’t help anyone, not even when I’m struggling.”
- “That making mistakes doesn’t mean I’m clumsy – it means I’m learning to handle things wisely and smartly.”
- “That I can be moody, so it’s worth trying to be more reasonable.”
- “That I’m capable of more.”
- “That I find it hard to name things directly, I don’t express what bothers me, and then I explode. I’ve learned I’m afraid to rely on others. I’ve learned I struggle to adapt at first – whether to university or social situations.”
How have you grown in the past year?
- “I manage my emotions better.”
- “I became more disciplined with my time.”
- “I enjoy seeing my body become more toned.”
- “I’ve become more philosophical than before.”
- “I’ve grown professionally – through volunteering and getting into university – but also emotionally. I’ve become more open and social, and I’ve gotten to know myself and those around me better.”
