Tricks and Tips in Youthwork-Experience Sharing Conference
Outward Bound Romania owns the Erasmus+ Accreditation in the field of Youth since 2020. We created an action plan for the period 2021-2027 for the following target groups: disadvantaged and mainstream young persons, youth workers and youth NGOs.
During the 7 years we are going to:
- create a strong local and international network of youth NGOs in order to share best practices and working methods.
- develop the soft and hard skills of the youth workers, enlarge their toolkits and theoretical/practical knowledge about working with groups using non-formal methods
- develop the key competences, raise the awareness of the young people about environmental sustainability and contribute to their inclusion
During the second year we implemented the following Mobilities in order to contribute to the set objectives:
- Winter Refresher: 2023.01.24-02.04.
- White Pathfinder: 2023.02.7-16.
- Green Footprint: 2023.03.19-30.
- Trick and Tips in youth work- Experience Sharing Conference: 2023.06.18-22.
- Diversity and Inclusion- Youth Exchange: 2023.07.1-12.

- Reconnection with Nature: 11-22.03.2024

Our main goal: was to build an international network of youth NGOs who can cooperate efficient in the future Erasmus+ project and to share best practices, useful methods in organizing, implementing international youth programs.
Specific objectives of the project were:
- to offer a personal experience for the representatives of the partners about the outdoor experiential learning method
- to strengthen the cooperation between the partners
- to share knowledge
- to exchange cultures
The elements of the program: icebreakers, energizers, knowing each other and team building activities, climbing in ropes course, hiking expedition, workshops lead by the partners about their main methods, planning the future projects
Results of the project:
- more motivated decision makers of the partners to send participants to our programs
- new connections and cooperation plans between the partners
- enlarged activity and method toolkit of the participants
- more environmentally friendly way of thinking
