An unique experience can get during the winter months those who are ready to challenge themselves within the “Snowhoes up!” winter program.

The “Snowshoes up!” as all Outward Bound programs, provides a suitable challenge for you. Although the snow and icy weather is demanding, it provides exciting challenges for snowshoe hikes.
While conquering the untouched snow and the slopes, you can explore your abilities, overcome your limits which will empower you to face future challenges.
The first day is about getting to know each-other better, team-building, preparation. The second day we start the expedition in the Ghiurghiului Mountains. The third day ends with personal development activities.
Target group: groups of VII.-XII. grade students
Period: 3 or 4 days (with advance booking)
Place: Outward Bound Youth Center, Sovata, Ghiurghiului Mountains
Apply: we are expecting the application of groups of minimum 15 members
The presence of an accompanying teacher is obligatory. The accompanying teacher receive 100% discount after 10 children.
Through the program, participants can achieve the following results:
– increase self-confidence
-deal with the challenges in critical situations
-increase physical and mental endurance
-learning tricks of winter hiking
