Career Orientation Day for young people

Description of the project:
More than 120 students attended the event, where they met representatives of 3 universities from Tîrgu Mureş and one from Cluj-Napoca, presenting their offers. In addition, they could attend several interactive presentations about the topic. There were different talks about the active student life, volunteering, student life in Cluj Napoca, how is to be an artist today. The participants filled out career choice tests and designed the future in an interactive way. The presentations were implemented by university professors, psychologists, students, EVS volunteer. We received feedback from both parts that the program was useful and effective.
Project results:
- 120 young high school students from Mureș County informed about further learning opportunities in the universities of Tîrgu Mures and Cluj-Napoca
- minimum 30 committed young people to taking initiatives in the future related to their professional career
- at least 50 young people more aware of their personal abilities
- 9 young people developed their skills of planning-implementing-evaluating
- 9 young people engaged to take an active role in the community
