Activities, services of the program:

• social apartment în Tîrgu Mureș, Dâmbul Pietros, with minimal financial contribution from your part

• personal development programs: mentoring, support for participating in psychotherapy if it is the case, support in participating in group programs for personal development

• (topics we can work on: personal motivation, defining goals, decision taking, communication style and skills, conflict management style, mental health, our resources, our relationships etc.)

• support in finding a job: counseling, mentoring in career path, which profession is matching your skills and interest? What is the employer looking for? In certain cases, supporting the participation, preparation for an interview

• community, group programs, recreational, cultural, sport programs based on personal needs and interests

• language learning support: English or Romnaian

• project writing support

• IT skills development support

• development of basic life leading  skills: financial/time management, cooking, filling out and writing official documents, forms

• offering opportunities in participating in volunteering activities, for skills development, development of relations, and getting an insight of different areas

The hOrizont program was initiated in 1998 by the German trainer, Irmelin Küthe and is supported by the Orizont – Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e. V. association. Since 2002 until 2017 the project has been running under CJD Domus Foundation from Cristuru Secuiesc.
In 2017 this project, including two apartments which serve as temporary homes, were taken over by Outward Bound Romania.
Until the present time yearly about 10-20 youngsters were and are benefiting from the services of the program.
