Active Youth – Creative Adulthood” (AYCA)
During the implementation of the present youth exchange program the participants went through experiences that motivated them in order to become more active within their own community, to get involved, to take action and to become the promoters of change. The programs duration is 10 days and it was organized for 30 participants in the period November 19 – 30, 2009 in cooperation with the human rights organization Civic Engagement Movement.
Partner promoters were Academy of Experience from Hungary, Outward Bound Bulgaria, Outward Bound Slovakia, Outward Bound Spain. The youth exchange comprised outdoor and indoor elements. The outdoor part of the Program consisted in hiking, biking, camping, ropes course, other outdoor challenges; The indoor activities were about being active and building a campaign followed by a field survey about active citizenship in the town of Sovata/Szováta.
